I too like your paintings, its this "first impression feeling" that grab my interest and would talk to me and make me like what I see... from Roy in far away Norway
Hello Roy, Thank you for your comment. I like the small scale work for just that reason...it forces me to get that 'basic stuff' of a just a few colors and shapes that is the essence.
Welcome to my blog, I will be exploring themes of landscapes, travels, figurative work and still life, updating as the work develops. Paintings are priced as marked. Email me to purchase a painting at italianwine@email.com
Please put "Painting" in the subject line.
"PAINTING WITHOUT FEAR" April 26 -30 2010 Sedona Arts Center (5 days 9am-4pm) TUITION: $ 600 (all materials included)
This beginning or refresher painting course will give you a ‘virtual toolbox’ of basic techniques and familiarity with the materials for painting with oils and acrylics. We will explore still-life and landscape (also using photography as a tool). A mid-week venture will have students taking photos and creating sketches on-site in the beautiful Sedona environment for later use in our studio. Each student will work with their own personal studio space within the larger classroom. Step-by-step projects will lead to surprising results in an atmosphere of fun and discovery. Lots of individual attention provided. All materials are included for student use during the workshop. Call the Sedona Arts Center to sign-up at 888.954.4442 or 928.282.3809
This workshop will be offered again Dec 13 - 17 2010
