Still reading about Greenberg's ideas and still experiencing 'deja vu', an experience of reflecting upon the time that I first encountered these ideas. For myself I have always been interested in the magical relationship between painted objects and the virtual space they occupy. An emphasis on the paint itself heightens the tension between that space and the surface of the work.

This is a nice piece -- nice composition, nice colours. I love that red accent with the jar of instant coffee.
